Obituary of Mary Annette McDaniel

McDANIEL, Mary Annette, age 71 of Mt. Juliet passed away July 17, 2014. Mrs. McDaniel graduated from Mt. Juliet High School in 1961. She worked for Moss' Florist in Mt. Juliet the last 17 years before retiring. Her main interests were her family, home, flowers and plants. She loved to plant and nurture her flower gardens. She also loved her animals. She was a very special person and loved everyone. She always tried to guide people to do what was right. She was a Christian and believed in the afterlife. The church of Christ was her life. She prayed daily for a better and peaceful world. She was truly a special wife, friend, and mother. We will miss her. She will always be in our hearts. She suffered greatly with this dreadful disease and her pain is finally over. This is a sad time in our household, but knowing her pain is finally over is somewhat comforting. God bless her. Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Lena Lane. She is survived by husband of 52 years, Robert R. McDaniel; daughter, Vickie Renee (Eddy) Willette; son, Jason Reid McDaniel; grandchildren, Tyler McDaniel, Ty Willette, Serenity Willette, and Alyssa Willette; sister, Betty Kathryn (Oco) Hamblen; and numerous other relatives. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 20th at 2 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
