Obituary of Raymond A Hester

Raymond A. “Andy” Hester, age 58 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday September 24, 2015. Funeral Service will be Monday September 28th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Schleihauf and Pastor Billy Jones officiating. Visitation will be Sunday September 27th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday September 28th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be Wednesday September 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Hester was born June 5, 1957 in Alexandria, VA. He is preceded in death by father, Jerry Leon Hester; and brother, Michael Hester. He is survived by wife of 27 years, Linda K. Hester of Gallatin; mother, Mary Louise Hill of Panama City, FL; sons, James David Key (Brandi) of Gallatin, and Jonathan Lee Barton (Lisa) of Gallatin; daughters, Tracey Lynn Schleihauf (Richard) of Lebanon, Billie Michelle Carter (James) of Clarksville, TN, Kayla Darlene Collins of Gallatin, and Amelia Andi Hester of Gallatin; brother, Stoney Hill (Kerri) of Hermitage; sister Wanda Cumberland of Murfreesboro; 10 grandchildren, Brittany Schleihauf, Tyler Schleihauf, Bethanie Schleihauf, Jackson Carter, Joshua Carter, Addison Carter, Abbygale Barton, Nathaniel Barton, Channing Collins, and Loria Yurt; and 2 great-grandchildren, Camden Whetstone, and Sophia Schleihauf.
