Obituary of Lucille Jones Reed

Lucille Reed, age 91, passed away on November 16, 2015. The Memorial Service, conducted by Pastor Ed Pugh, and Pastor Tim Palmer, is 2 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Westland United Methodist, Lebanon TN. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Westland United Methodist Church Memorial Fund in honor of Lucille. Mrs. Reed was born August 6, 1924 in Jackson County TN. She worked in Oak Ridge on the Manhattan Project during WWII. She moved to Lebanon TN and worked for Lux Clock for 35 years, until her retirement. She and her husband were avid campers and traveled all over the country during their retirement. They were Charter Members of Westland United Methodist Church in Lebanon TN. Mrs. Reed is survived by sons Raymond Reed (Linda) of League City TX and Jerry Reed (Teresa) of Lebanon TN, grandchildren Tonia Meadows (David) of League City TX, Dwayne Reed (Megan) of Lebanon TN, Ryan Reed (Sylver) of Cypress TX, Johnny Reed (Rochelle) of Chesapeake VA, and Kevin Reed of Lebanon TN, and eleven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband of 60 years, Ralph Reed, parents Arther and Flora Hamlett Jones, infant sister Jewell Marie, and brothers Edwin, Ralph, and Ray Jones.
