Obituary of Kathy F. Rogers

Kathy Nell Eschete Rogers, 65, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2016 at 9:19am after a 2 1/2 year battle with stage four breast cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends at home in Gallatin, Tennessee. Kathy is survived by her three children Samantha Rogers, Misty Rogers Bergeron, Jessica Rogers Willmore as well as her son-in-law Chip Willmore. She also leaves behind her grandchild Baeleigh Bergeron. She was preceded in death by her brother, Karl James Eschete, her father, George Eschete, and her mother Ruth Eschete. Kathy was born on November 12, 1950 in Marrero, Louisiana. She worked faithfully for the Jefferson Parrish School Board before marrying and moving to Gallatin, Tennessee in 1989 to raise her daughters as a stay-at-home SUPER mom. Her three children are her proudest accomplishments and are her legacy she left here on Earth. Her daughters would like to thank the staff at SRMC, Tennessee Oncology, and especially HighPoint Hospice for seeing to it that their beloved mother received the best care possible. There will be a private memorial held to honor and remember the great mother Kathy was. In lieu of flowers, Kathy's wishes are for her girls to take a trip to scatter her ashes.
