Obituary of Molene Smith

Molene Smith, age 91 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday January 20, 2016. Funeral Service will be Saturday January 23rd at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Bro. Stacey Troutt officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday January 22nd from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday January 23rd from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Smith was born May 23, 1924 in Macon County to the late Charlie Linville and Pearlie Mae Huddleston Linville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband of 58 ½ years, who died in October 1997; son, Henry Allen Smith; grandson, Barry Smith; and sisters, Lorene Russell, Roxie Vaughn, and Juanita White. She is survived by sons, Charlie Steven Smith (Carolyn) of Gallatin, and Homer Smith (Sue) of Gallatin; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
