Obituary of Jack Lackey, Jr.

Jack Lackey, age 69, of Lebanon, passed away on January 21, 2016. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and on Monday from 11 a.m. until the service at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, Brother David Haun, and Brother Todd Lackey, is 2 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery will follow the service. Pallbearers: Sammy Walpole, Bobby Walpole, Kevin Bell, Ricky Bell, Billy Winfree, and Jeff Sellars. Honorary Pallbearers: Leroy Moss and Billy Walker. The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Quality Rehab. After graduating from Lebanon High School, Mr. Lackey worked at Rackley Roofing and Lackey Roofing, and Pastored 8 years at Watertown COGOP. He is preceded in death by mother Olene Smith, step-father Frank Smith, father Jack Lackey, sister Linda Pruitt, and grandparents Baird and Herman Moss and Bessie and Lee Lackey. He is survived by wife: Cynthia Warren Lackey; sons: Shane Lackey (Alisha), Todd Lackey (Wendy), Michael Shea Lackey (Tracie), and Joshua Lackey; 7 grandchildren: Michael Shea (Emily), Joslyn, and Trace Lackey, Gabriel Lackey, Jeff Belcher, Christina Lackey, and Jay Silcox; great-grandson: Michael Shea Lackey III; sisters: Brenda Minchey, Samantha Gammons, and Vonda Driver; and brother David Lackey.
