Obituary of Elizabeth Owen Weller

Elizabeth Owen Weller, age 99 of Franklin, passed away Tuesday January 26, 2016. Funeral Service will be Saturday January 30th at Gallatin First United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m., with Bro. Jerry Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Hartsville Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday January 30th at Gallatin First United Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Weller was born February 16, 1916 in Hartsville to the late Sam Jones Owen and Mary Elizabeth Welch Owen. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Robert Allen Weller; brother, James Welch Owen; and sisters, Minnie Belle Owen, Laura Owen Holder, and Eleanor Owen Lipscomb. She is survived by son, Dr. Robert A. Weller (Martha Riherd Weller) of Brentwood; and daughter, Elaine Weller Dodd (Dr. Robert T. Dodd) of Franklin.
