Obituary of Jean Vaughan

Jean Vaughan, age 93 of Gallatin, passed away Monday March 14, 2016. There will be a Memorial Graveside Service Sunday March 20th at 2:00 P.M. at the Gallatin Cemetery . Mrs. Vaughan was born December 23, 1922 in Ragland, AL to the late Abbie Davis and Bessie Alverson Davis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Lt. Col. Ret. USAF Harry Vaughan, Jr.; daughter, Sandra Jean Vaughan; brother, Robert Lawton Davis; and sisters, Lucille Weaver, and Gertrude Blankenship. She is survived by son, Harry Vaughan, III (Candie Parker Vaughan) of Gallatin; 2 grandchildren, Amie Vaughan (Yacine Belkabir), and Jennifer Balazadeh (Saum); and 2 great grandchildren, Machais Balazadeh, and Semiah Balazadeh. Mrs. Vaughan enjoyed bridge, golf, genealogy, and scrapbooking. After retirement from the Air Force, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughan lived in Central Florida for 42 years.
