Obituary of Larry Michael Blankenship

Larry Blankenship, age 68, of Lebanon, passed away on April 14, 2016. The Graveside Service, conducted by Father Bill Dalglish, is 1 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Nashville National Cemetery (1420 Gallatin Road South) Madison TN. Mr. Blankenship, a U.S Air Force Veteran, retired Scheduling Manager for Pinkerton Security and member of the Epiphany Episcopal Church was a member of the American Legion Post #15, a board member for Wilson County Books from Birth, New Leash on Life and Wilson County Teen Court. He was a former Ambassador for the Wilson County Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the Wilson County Democrat Party and Lions Club. He is survived by wife Bernice Mitchell Blankenship, Step-Daughter, Tiffany Cunningham, Best Buddy and Brother-in-law Mike Agee, Brother-in-law Tony Mitchell, numerous neices and nephews, cousins Ruth Johnson, Roger (Mary) McCallister , Danny (Becky) Locey as well as his dog and faithful companion "Jack", his family friends Frank and Jean Newbell and friends at the Tennessee Veterans Home. He is preceded in death by both parents, brothers William, Roger and Rocky Blankenship, and cousin Bob Johnson.
