Obituary of Ella Mae Crowell

Ella Crowell, age 85, of Lebanon, passed away on April 18, 2016 at Summit Medical Center, surrounded by family. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Thursday from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and on Friday from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother John Hunn, is 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. Pallbearers: Tim Murray, Scott Fakes, Christian Fakes, Lane Mullins, Andrew Boyd, Josh Conger, Trevor Peterson, Ricky Boyd, and Port Conger. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Kenneth Demirjian, Dr. Robert Woods, and Dr. Kevin Finnegan. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations: East Tennessee Christian Home (PO Box 1147, Elizabethton, TN 37644-1147). Ella has been a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Lebanon since 1958. She was retired from the Texas Boot Company after 41 years of service. Ella was devoted to her family and exemplified the role of mother and friend. Her kitchen was the heart of her home and the favorite gathering place of all who entered. She is preceded in death by her second son Larry Herbert Crowell and husband Felix Herbert Crowell. She is survived by son Garry Crowell (Dale), daughter Jackie McCrary; grandchildren Bridgett Murray (Tim), Annie Conger (Josh), Abbie McCrary ( Trevor Peterson, Scott Fakes (Gina), and Lane Mullins; great-grandchildren Morgan and Taylor Murray, Port and Jack Conger, Louise Peterson, Chase and Christian Fakes; extended family Rickey, Judy, Andrew and Emily Boyd; and special friend Dean Young.
