Obituary of Jessie Reinsch
Jessie Lawrie Palmer Reinsch
Passed away on May 29, 2016, at Alive Hospice, Madison, TN. She was the daughter of the late Maurice and Margaret Jean Lawrie Palmer.Also preceded in death by Richard Rollin Reinsch, her husband of 61 years, daughter Sheila Reinsch Mildner, two brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include sons Richard Maurice (Scotti) and Jeffrey Rollin(Tina) Reinsch, daughters Roslyn Gayle Reinsch and Glynis (Jon) Doliana, granddaughters Leslie (Jody) Starks and Meg Reinsch,grandsons Richard Maurice (Evie) Reinsch II, Rollin Reinsch, Jon and Joe Doliana, David Thompson, great grandchildren Grace, Jack, and Nate Starks,Gus, Clare, Noah, Lilly, and John Paul Reinsch.
Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, she came to America in 1946. In earlier years, she was active in several Methodist Churches in both the Holston and Tennessee Conferences and received life memberships from two Wesleyan Service Guilds. She was also active in the Girl Scouts, PTA, Federal Women's Club, and Cub Scouts. Family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are members of the of the Hester Ward Sunday School Class of the Gallatin First United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be at Family Heritage Funeral Home on May 31, 2016, from 10:00 till 11:30, with a graveside service to follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Lorin Pedigo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gallatin First United Methodist Church.
