Obituary of Carl Dee Troutt

Carl Dee Troutt, age 82 of Castalian Springs, passed away Thursday June 9, 2016. Funeral Service will be Monday June 13th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Forrest Chapel Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday June 11th from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday June 12th from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m., and Monday June 13th 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Mr. Troutt was born April 28, 1934 in Sumner County to the late Smiley Cantrell Troutt and Lola Mae Perry Troutt. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Evelyn Christine Troutt; son Carl “Rickey” Troutt; and siblings, Cantrell Troutt, Leroy Troutt, Eugene Troutt, Jack Troutt, Minnie Norris, Roberta Akins, Joann Born, Dean McCloud, Myrtle Troutt, and Mary Lou Troutt. He is survived by daughters, Evelyn Brown (Morgan) of Gallatin, and Sheila Smith (Tim) of Castalian Springs; brother, Rammie Troutt (Glenda) of Westmoreland; sister, Maidell Bell of Westmoreland; 4 grandchildren, Laura Boivin, Michael Brown, Angela Beasley, and Justin D.
