Obituary of Jerry A. Branham

Jerry A. Branham, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday August 27, 2016. Funeral Service will be Tuesday August 30th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Joe Porter officiating. Interment will follow at Gallatin Cemetery, with Chris Foutch, Doug Stinson, James Johnson, Mark Visser, Nichols Turner, and Tony Branham serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday August 29th from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday August 30th from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Jerry was born July 30, 1942 in Sumner County to the late Esley A. Branham and Vernie West Branham. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Linda Sue Branham; brother, Bobby Branham; and sister, Sue Brown. He is survived by sister, Rebecca Stinson (Doug) of Gallatin; sister-in-law, Peggy Branham of Hendersonville; and several nieces and nephews. Jerry loved music, dancing, he walked everywhere, and loved people and everybody loved him. Jerry and Linda Sue were married for 12 years and married when Jerry was 50 years old.
