Obituary of Deborah Sue Bartley

Deborah Sue Wakefield Bartley, was born on December 22, 1962, in Lafayette, Tennessee, to Neelie Harp Wakefield and the late Charles Edward Wakefield. Deborah married Danny Bartley on June 2, 1978, and they spent over thirty-eight wonderful years together. Together they raised two children, Daniel and Christy. She was saved by the good Lord, and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Deborah worked side by side with Danny, driving camera trucks for U.I.S. inspecting sewer lines. In her spare time she liked to cross stitch, and loved riding horses. She also loved to be with her children and grandchildren. Along with her father, Deborah was preceded in death by her Mother-in-law, Joann Bartley and a special cousin, Jerry Wakefield. Deborah was surrounded by her family and friends when she was called to her Heavenly home on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at the age of fifty-three years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Deborah Sue Bartley is survived by; Husband, Danny Bartley; Son, Daniel Bartley and wife, Jessica; Daughter, Christy Madden and husband, John; Mother, Neelie Wakefield; Father-in-law, Charles Bartley, Jr.; Grandchildren, Dennis, Courtney, Bianca, Ava, and Grady Bartley, and Anthony, Billy, and J.B. Madden; Brother, Jackie Wakefield and wife, Glenda. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law also survive. Funeral services for Deborah Sue Bartley were conducted on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at 2 pm from Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, with Elder Jackie Wakefield and Elder Ricky Wilson officiating. Interment followed in the Wakefield Cemetery.
