Obituary of Charles Robert Cox

Charles Robert Cox, age 72 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday October 18, 2016. Funeral Service will be Friday October 21st at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday October 20th from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday October 21st from 12:00 noon until time of service. Mr. Cox was born July 26, 1944 in Gallatin to the late Clyde Vernon Cox and Sarah Daughtry Cox. He is survived by wife of 36 years, Velinda Sue Overfelt Cox; son, Michael Cox (fiance, Robin Byrd, and daughter, Nicole) of Hendersonville; daughter, Tina Wade (Hargis) of Gallatin; sister, Doris Strickland of Alexandria; and 2 grandchildren, Jeremy Wade and Rebecca Wade.
