Obituary of Tana Lajan McClure

TANA LAJAN MCCLURE, age 53 of Lafayette, Tennessee and formerly of West Virginia passed away on August 4, 2011. Funeral services were conducted at Chambers Funeral Home in West Virginia on August 9, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. with John Schukle officiating. Interment followed in the Pinson Cemetery in Buskirk, Kentucky. Tana was born on April 13, 1958 in Pineville, West Virginia to Mary Eileen Carroll McClure and the late William Franklin McClure. She was one of five children born to this union. She was a graduate in the class of 1979 from Baker High School in Baker City, Oregon. As a young woman she worked in a Head Start Program. She moved to Lafayette sixteen years ago with her parents and family. Tana enjoyed listening to her radio; she was a big country music fan. She had a great love for animals and enjoyed their company. Tana was of the Baptist Faith. She touched many hearts throughout her life and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by; Mother, Mary McClure, Sister, Lottie McClure, and Brother, Brad McClure all of Lafayette, TN, Sister, Shameron Skeels, and Brother, Norman McClure both of Baker City, OR, three nieces, and three nephews.
