Obituary of Luke Anders Nylen

Murfreesboro - Nylen, Luke Anders, 19 - Suddenly on Nov. 26, 2016. Luke possessed an uncommon, selfless and humble courage which served him well from the moment he entered this world until the moment he left it. He lived with death tugging at his elbow his entire life with a kind of faith, grace and dignity only those closest to him can truly appreciate. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Kjell Nylen and James Mundy. He is survived by his parents, Anders & Caroline (Mundy) Nylen; sister, Lena; grandmothers, Gunnel Nylen and Carolyn Mundy, aunt, Barbro Pilch; uncle, Jason Mundy and many other supportive relatives and friends. Luke was a 2015 graduate of Oakland High School and was a full time employee at FedEx. He was an avid sports fan, loved the outdoors, fishing and bonfires. All are invited to celebrate Luke’s life on Wed, Nov. 30 from 5 - 8PM at the Cedar Forest Lodge @ Cedars of Lebanon State Park. Luke received lifelong cardiac care at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, and his family asks you to consider a donation in his name.
