Obituary of Dinzel Overfelt

Dinzel Overfelt, age 89 of Gallatin passed away Monday November 28, 2016. Funeral Service will be Friday December 2nd at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. James Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday December 1st from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday December 2nd from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Mr. Overfelt was born April 25, 1927 in Glasgow, KY to the late Ruel Overfelt and Eunice Overfelt. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Ruey Kathryn Lynn Overfelt; and son-in-law, Charles Cox. He is survived by son, Eddie Overfelt of Gallatin and Tony Overfelt (Kathy) of Auburn, AL; daughter, Sue Cox of Gallatin; grandchildren, Shanna Lynn Overfelt, Joshua Overfelt, Rebecca Morrill (Josh), Michael Cox, Tina Wade (Hargis), Jennifer Spain (Tim), Melissa Bagwell (Drew); and great grandchildren, Landen Morrill, Tristen Morrill, Matthew Morrill, Jeremy Wade, Becky Wade, Jennifer Lynn Cox, Shelby Lynn Cox, Katie Belle Spain, Harrison Bagwell, and Madison Bagwell.
