Obituary of Sara Vaughan

Sara Vaughan, age 69 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday January 18, 2017. Funeral Service will be Saturday January 21st at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating. Visitation will be Friday January 20th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday January 21st from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be Saturday January 21st at 3:00 p.m. EST at Spring City Cemetery, with family serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Vaughan was born April 2, 1947 in Spring City, to the late Farley Ferguson and Mary Lindsay Ferguson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Stuart Vaughan, Jr.; brother, Pat Ferguson; and sister, Ann Ferguson. She is survived by son, Stuart Vaughan III; daughter, Jennifer Stauffer (Tom) of Winston Salem, NC; and 2 grandchildren, Mary Stuart and Margaret Porter.
