Obituary of Melvin "Big" Moore

Mr. Melvin “Big” Moore, age 82, of Lafayette, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tennessee. Funeral services for Mr. Melvin “Big” Moore are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, January 20, 2017, at 1 PM from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin at Alexander Funeral Home on Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 11 AM until 9 PM, and on Friday, from 8 AM until service time at 1 PM. Mr. Melvin “Big” Moore is survived by; Wife, Sammie Jean Moore Sons, Randall Moore and wife, Leasa Kenny Moore Grandchildren, Scott Moore and wife, Veronica Mindy Moore Jacob Moore Chad Goosetree and wife, Mandy Erica Dowell and husband, Wayne Sarah Goosetree Caleb Gregory Sisters-in-law, Betty Moore, Louise Hire, Jonell (Eugene) Fisher, Carolyn (Ronnie) Morgan, and Clara Knight Brothers-in-law, Milo Mullet, Ralph (Rachel) Knight, and Aaron Knight Six Great-Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews, and a Host of Friends also survive.
