Obituary of Glendon K. George
Glendon K. “Nig” George, age 87 of Portland, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 23rd at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Dr. L. Allen Thompson officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22nd from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 23rd from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Halltown Cemetery.
Mr. George was born September 4, 1929 to the late Edward P. and Della Belle Kelly George. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
