Obituary of Retha L. Hussey

Retha L. Hussey, age 75 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017. Funeral Service will be Monday, February 27th at 3:30 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Deacon Jim Carr officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 27th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Bush’s Chapel, with Blake Yazzie, Nick Yazzie, Jason Hussey, Cameron Hussey, Matthew Hussey, Ricky “Bubba” Barnes, Brian Hubert, Zach Pryor, James Brandt, and Josh Lynn serving as active and honorary pallbearers. Ms. Hussey was born August 18, 1941 in Ft. Benning, GA, to the late John D. Fussell and Virginia Webb Fussell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son, Damon Hussey; and granddaughter, Zoe Johnson. She is survived by daughter, Regina Yazzie (Bruce) of Hendersonville and Kristina Johnson of Indianapolis, IN; son, Jason Hussey (Donna) of Hendersonville; sister, Pamela Winegarden of Nashville; 10 grandchildren, Ricky “Bubba” Barnes (April), Alex Hubert (Brian), Cameron Hussey, Retha Henderson (Kayla), Blake Yazzie (Maria), Victoria Yazzie (James Brandt), Nick Yazzie (Shelby Page), Vanessa Pryor (Zach), Rachel Lynn (Josh), and Matthew Hussey; and 9 great grandchildren, Rylee Milligan, Greyson Pryor, Jayden Yazzie, Emma Hubert, Ellen Hubert, Aiden Barnes, Elizabeth Barnes, Ava Yazzie, and Joanna Lynn.
