Obituary of Marie Bright Lowe

LOWE, Marie Bright, age 80 of Mt. Juliet, passed peacefully on March 26, 2017. Mrs. Lowe was a devout Christian woman who was loving, kind and a mother to everyone. She enjoyed spending time with family, cross stitch, gardening and cooking. She was preceded in death by parents, Bennie Tyler and Betty Lois Temple Bright; and brothers, J. B. (Helen) Bright, Doug Bright and Russell Dennis. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Fred A Lowe, Jr.; children, Diane (Kyle) Turnham, Lisa Rhea, Rick (Kim) Lowe and Mary Anne (David) Neely; brother, Robert (Barbara) Dennis; sister, Helen Dennis Wright; grandchildren, Steven Charles Turnham, Alexandra (Sean) Thornton, Taylor (Nic) Elliott and Abigail Neely; cousin, Delores Gilliam Butler; nieces, Janet (Bob) Siddons and Jackie (Brent) Ferguson and nephew, Clyde (Paula) Bright. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 28th at 2 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Jim Atwood officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Steven Turnham, Kyle Turnham, David Neely, Sean Thornton, Nic Elliott and Eric Smith serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the congregation of Green Street Church of Christ. Visitation with the family will be Monday, March 27th from 4-8 pm and Tuesday, March 28th from 12-2 pm.
