Obituary of Janice Rae Poe

Janice Rae Poe, age 65 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017. Memorial Service will be Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 30th from 12:00 noon until time of service. Mrs. Poe was born January 6, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Leon C. Harrell and Mabel Rae Mercer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Carl R. Poe; and brother, Leon C. Harrell, Jr. She is survived by daughters, Heather Rae Lewis of Braselton, GA., and Holly Ann Gilbert (Robert Wayne Gilbert, Jr.) of Nashville; brother, Robert Mercer of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Joyce Lee Cardinal (Frank B.) of Keller, TX and Judith Ann Williams (Jimmy R.) of Talladega, AL; and 1 grandchild, Hailey Rae Spector.
