Obituary of Cecil Allen Dunnagan

Cecil Allen Dunnagan, age 72 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 8th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, April 8th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 12304 Wickliffe Road, Kevil, KY 42053 at 5:00 p.m. with Jonathan Billings, Jimmy Deaton, Jesse Deaton, Sonny Deaton, Amanda Claybrooks, and Josie Deaton serving as pallbearers. Mr. Dunnagan was born August 22, 1944 in Dickson County to the late John T. Dunnagan and Ethel Gertrude Hutchison Dunnagan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Brenda Dunnagan; grandson, Jake Deaton; brother, Dale Dunnagan; and sister, Macel Lene Spann. He is survived by daughters, Dorothy Dunnagan of Gallatin and Janet Deaton (Sonny) of Gallatin; brothers, Phillip Dunnagan of Dickson, Bobby Dunnagan of White House, and Roy Dunnagan of Mt. Juliet; sisters, Mary Campbell (Wendell) of White House, Loa Sloan (Al) of Camden, May Spann of Fairview, and Margie Culley of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Jonathan Billings, Jimmy Deaton, Jesse Deaton, Amanda Claybrooks (Larry, Jr.), and Josie Deaton; and 5 great grandchildren, Jaiden, Aaliyah, Jordyn, Joseph, and Kylie.
