Obituary of Geraldine Danz

Geraldine Danz, age 91 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, with Father Stephen Gideon as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 25th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., with Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home and Wednesday, April 26th from 9:30 until time to leave for the church. Miss Danz was born May 9, 1925 in Chicago, IL to the late Stanley Danz and Victoria Novak Danz. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by great nephew, David Opalek; and brother, Richard Danz. She is survived by sister-in-law, Leonardo Danz of Gallatin; nephews, Jim Opalek (Donna) of Gallatin and Robert Opalek (Karen) of Michigan; great nieces and nephews, Jessica Vaughn (Bernie) of Hartsville, Brian Opalek (Whitney) of Nashville, Jennifer Geddes (Sean) of Florida, and Susan Opalek of Michigan; 2 great-great nephews; and 1 great-great niece.
