Obituary of Velma Oliver Shrum

Ms. Velma Oliver Shrum, age 94, of Lafayette, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017, at her residence.  Funeral services for Ms. Velma Shrum are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, May 14, 2017, at 3 PM from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Daniel Cook and Elder Phillip Brawner officiating. Interment will follow in the Will Gregory Cemetery in Pleasant Shade.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 11 AM until 8 PM, and on Sunday, 10 AM until service time at 3 PM.

Family is requesting memorials in the form of donations be made to the Will Gregory Cemetery.
