Obituary of Mary F. Lawson

Mary F. Lawson, age 81 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 17th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. James Edison officiating.  Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Chad Lawson, Mike Strouce, B. J. Carter, Shelbi Williams, Chris Duffer, and Gary Bullington serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Tuesday, May 16th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 17th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Lawson was born August 3, 1935 in Gallatin, to the late Thomas Brown and Myrtle Beatrice Key Brown.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Elmer Lawson; son, William “Bill” Lawson; granddaughter, Cindy Lawson Hatton; brother, Billy Brown; and sister, Betty Sue Cole.  She is survived by daughters, Mary Anne Duffer of Gallatin and Debbie Strouce (Mike) of Gallatin; brother, Thomas Brown (Carolyn Sue) of Whitehouse; daughter-in-law, Brenda Lawson of Gallatin; 7 grandchildren, Chad Lawson (Stephanie), Brad Lawson (Rhonda), Chris Duffer, Travis Wright (Wanda), Karen Miller (Brandon), Scott Strouce, Amanda Strouce; 16 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
