Obituary of Joseph "Boots" Goins

GOINS, Joseph "Boots", age 93 of Mt. Juliet passed away May 21, 2017. Mr. Goins was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Goins; parents, Sammie Lee and Ollie Mae Goins; son, Ricky Joe Goins; and 10 brothers & sisters. He is survived by children, Wanda Sue Putty, Paul Douglas (Retha) Goins, Patsy (Larry) Cole, Phillip (Tina) Goins and Sue Goins; brothers, Rayford Goins, Kenneth Wayne Goins and Harold (Annette) Goins; sisters, Ruthie Cole, Elsie Mason, Mildred Page and Mary Alice Davis; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 25th, 11am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, May 24th from 4-8 pm and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
