Obituary of Estel Slayton, Jr.

Mr. Estel Slayton, Jr., age 63, of the Rocky Mound Community, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017, at his residence.  Funeral services for Mr. Estel Slayton are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at 4 PM from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Anthony Hale and Brother Coty Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Mound Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Friday, May 26, 2017, from 6 PM until 9 PM, Saturday, 9 AM until 9 PM, and on Sunday, from 9 AM until service time at 4 PM.

There will be a Masonic Service conducted from the funeral home on Saturday evening, May 27, 2017, at 7 PM by Hillsdale Lodge 664 F&AM.

Family is requesting memorial contributions in the form of donations towards the funeral expenses.
