Obituary of Evelyn L. Augenstine

Evelyn L. Augenstine, age 89 of Bethpage, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017.    Service will be Monday, July 3rd at 7:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home in Gallatin, TN, with Bro. Tim Brown officiating.  Visitation will be Monday, July 3rd from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m.   In addition, a Service will be Thursday, July 6th at 7:00 p.m. from the chapel of Hillside Funeral Home in Highland, IN, with Bro. Mitch Bright officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday, July 6th from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Augenstine was born December 29, 1927 in Griffith, IN, to the late Francis Milam and Ruth Roye Milam.  She is survived by husband of 69 years, Raymond Augenstine; children, Dianne Hixon (George) of Castalian Springs, Dale Augenstine of Bethpage, Charlene Cigler (Paul) of Castalian Springs, Bradley  Augenstine of Bethpage, and Kathleen Walters (David) of Hendersonville; sisters, Doris Wright of Lake Station, IN, Dorothy Farmer of Griffith, IN, Marilyn Brown (M. J.) of Rockville, IN, Patricia Scott of Merrillville, IN, and Judith Hixon of Merrillville, IN;  8 grandchildren, Danelle Powers, Michael Augenstine, Hayley Carter, James Reel, Derek Hixon, Kara Brown, Joshua Walters, Kaitlin Walters; 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
