Obituary of Carol Ann Pulley Wix Laughlin

Carol Ann Pulley Wix Laughlin, age 64 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017.  Funeral Service will be Sunday, July 30th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Peace and Bro. Robert Gilman officiating.  Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Joseph Reed, William Curd, David Reed, Roger McCullough, Jr., Alex McCullough, Barry Gregory serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 29th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 30th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.

Ms. Laughlin was born September 6, 1952 in Gallatin, TN to the late, James C. Pulley and Ida Reels Pulley.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Jesse Pulley, William Pulley, Jimmy Pulley, and Rondal Pulley; sisters, Pat Curd, Elizabeth Clemons, and Stella Reed; husbands, Leonard Ray Wix, the father of her children, and Larry Claud Laughlin.  She is survived by sons, Timmy Wix (Ramona) of Gallatin and Donnie Ray Wix of Gallatin; daughter-in-law, Shannon Smotherman Wix of Castalian Springs; sister, Virginia Reed of Gallatin; grandchildren, Donnie R. Wix, Jr. (Amanda Dickens Wix), Daniel Ray Wix, Benjamin Denney, Terry Culbreath (Kaitlin Gregory Culbreath, Michaela Freeman, and Stephen Kinnard, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Cherish Willis and Chloe Wix.  She will be missed by many family and friends.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
