Obituary of Bobby Newman

Bobby Newman, age 55, passed away on August 11, 2017.  The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Sunday from 4-8 p.m., on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and on Tuesday for one hour prior to service.  The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Michael Hale and Brother John Green, is 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home.  Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service.  Pallbearers:  Bret Kibby, Steven Smithson, Richard Smithson, John Burnett, Timmy Oliver, and Paul Newman. Honorary Pallbearers:  Coworkers at Fortune Plastics.

               Mr. Newman was a Supervisor for Fortune Plastics. He was a passionate fan of the Green Bay Packers and loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, reloading, and horseshoes.  He is survived by his wife Ellen Newman, children Richard Smithson, Steven Smithson, Candi Newman, Tonisha Deago (Rick), and Jessica Hale (Michael), mother Johnnie McElroy (Kenneth), grandchildren Mya Elizabeth Deago, Ryan Christopher Deago, Dominik James Deago, Waylon Gregory Smithson, Aubrey Grace Budzak, Jewel Marie Hale, and Dayton Ellis Hale, siblings Nancy Montgomery (Rick), Sara Deffendall (Kevin), and Paul Newman (Jett), and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by father Bobby Newman Sr. and brother Don Newman.
