Obituary of William Kurt Mason

William Kurt “Bill” Mason passed away peacefully on August 15, 2017, following a short illness.  He was surrounded by his loving family and will be deeply missed.  The Funeral Service, conducted by Reverend Danny Sellars, is 2 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2017 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home.  The family will receive visitors on Thursday before the service, beginning at 11 a.m.  Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial, beside his parents, following the service.  Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.

               Bill was born on October 16, 1962 in Lebanon TN, to the late David and Mildred Mason.  He is survived by a loving brother, David Mason (Barbara) of Tampa FL, and three loving sisters, Danice Haltom (John) of Jackson TN, Jackie Winfree and Penny Maier, both of Hermitage TN, several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

               Bill grew up in Lebanon and attended Lebanon City Schools and Lebanon High School.  He received his high school diploma while living in Florida.  During his adult years, Bill worked numerous construction jobs in Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee.  For the last 12 years, he has been a resident of Hermitage TN. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and was a member of the Mt. Juliet Church of God.
