Obituary of Dorothy Dean Jenkins

Dorothy Jenkins passed away on September 2, 2017 at age 84.  The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from noon until the service.  The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Jonathan Jennings, is 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home.  Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service.  Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.  Honorary Pallbearers:  Lovely Ladies of LaGuardo and Sunshine Gals.

               Mrs. Jenkins was a seamstress with Decorators Delight and a member of LaGuardo Baptist Church.  She loved flowers and playing bingo at the Lebanon Senior Citizens’ Center.  She is survived by daughter Brenda McCarty (Wade); son Randy Jenkins (Tracie); daughter-in-law Debby Jenkins; grandchildren Jon Jenkins (Krista), Jason Jenkins, Jody Jenkins (Terryn), Jake Jenkins (Loran), and Checotah Allen (Charles), and Shane McCarty and Arrington McCarty; 14 great-grandchildren; and brother Raymond McDaniel (Gloria).  She is preceded in death by husband Russell “Buddy” Jenkins, son Harold Jenkins, parents Aline Foutch and Alton McDaniel, and brother Sam McDaniel.  Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN 615.444.9393.
