Obituary of Miller Thurman

Miller Thurman, age 82 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017.  There has been a private memorial service.  Mr. Thurman was born February 2, 1935 in Sumner County to the late, Tom Thurman and Daisey Brooks Thurman.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Doris Taylor Thurman; son, Mike Thurman; brothers, Eugene Thurman and Earl Thurman; sisters, Gracie Thurman Allison, Mary Whited, and Sue Delk: and son-in-law, James H. Mungle.  He is survived by Daughter, Jackie Mungle of Hartsville; sons, Anthony “Tony” Thurman (Angela Sanders) of Gallatin and Daniel Thurman of California; brothers, Charles Thurman of Gallatin, Dewey Thurman of Portland, and Tommy Thurman (Linda) of Milton, FL; 4 grandchildren, Crystal Mungle, James Howard Mungle, Jr., Kala Thurman, and Morgan Thurman; and 4 great grandchildren, Kobe Anthony Bailey, Christian Rey Dalton, Kabri Jae Mungle, and Walker Lane Mungle.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Heritage Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
