Obituary of Betty Jo Norman

Betty Jo Norman, age 87 of Gallatin, TN, formerly of Liddieville, LA, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA, with Dr. Bobby Ensminger officiating.  Interment will follow at Ogden Cemetery, under the direction of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home.  Mrs. Betty Jo, a retired cafeteria manager for Ogden School and Member of Beouf River Baptist Church, was born September 9, 1929, in Winnsboro, LA to the union of Lamar and Myrtly Cupples Jemerson, and she passed from this life on September 3, 2017 in Hendersonville, TN.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Nathan Norman; and two brothers, Marvin Jemerson and Delton Jemerson.  Survivors left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Renae Collins of Gallatin, TN and Wynona Wyatt and husband Eddie also of Gallatin, TN; son, Greg Norman and wife Lynn of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Gina Wright, Chip Collins, Brent Wyatt, Gregory Norman, Lisa Norman, Jessica Irwin, and Amanda Irwin;brother, Audry Jemerson and wife Rebecca of Saline, LA; sister, Evelyn McCarty, Barry Turner, and Alan Dale Jemerson.  Pallbearers will be Chip Collins, Zachary McCarty, Barry Turner, and Alan Dale Jemerson.  Honorary Pallbearer will be John Powell.  The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, September 9, 2017, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Louisiana.  Online registry/condolences at www.youngscommunity.com or alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Heritage Funeral Home has assisted with arrangements.
