Obituary of Jerry Lee Hoskins, Sr.

Jerry “Bo” Hoskins, Sr.  age 65 of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 11th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue), with Donnie Toney officiating.  Interment will follow at Eulia Cemetery, with David Hoskins, Jerry Lee Hoskins, Draper Moran, Kameron Hoskins, Aaron Walker, and Dameon Hoskins serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Tuesday, October 10th from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 11th from 12:00 p.m.

Mr. Hoskins was born September 16, 1952 in Macon County to the late Dennis Elmer Hoskins and Minnie Alice Ladd Hoskins.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Christy Hoskins; great grandchild, Tristin Smith; brothers, Charlie Hoskins; and sister, Ruby Cantrell.  He is survived by wife of 11 years, Ida Miller Hoskins; sons, David Hoskins (Terri) of Portland and Jerry Lee Hoskins, Jr. (Jenny) of Bowling Green, KY; step-son, Draper Moran (Tabitha Cardwell) of Brownsville, KY; daughter, Penny Clem (Frankie) of Bowling Green, KY; step-daughter, Samantha Cannon (Kyle) of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Sandra Caruthers (Tommy) of Westmoreland; 14 grandchildren, Lacey Williams, Chelsey Hoskins, Kameron Hoskins, Dameon Hoskins, Drake Hoskins, David Hoskins, Kasey Hoskins, Mary Panchisin, Emily Gammons (Robert), Aaron Walker, Lexi Moran, Kyrie Scarbrough, Harley Scarbrough, and Madi Scarbrough; and 5 great grandchildren, Raelynn Miles, Brandon Ramirez, Alexis Ramirez, Robert Gammons, Jr, and Shatonnah Gammons.  Mr. Hoskins is a retired owner/operator truck driver.  Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
