Obituary of Mary Morgan Romines

Mary Morgan Romines, age 71 of Cookeville, formerly of Gallatin, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017.  Funeral Service will be Friday, November 10th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue), with Bro. George Austin officiating.  Interment will follow at Gallatin Cemetery, with Chad Douglas, Neil Kemp, Austin Romines, Steven Kemp, Josh Brinkley, Chris Hughes, Wayne Goolsby, Daniel Romines, and Bobby Romines serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 9th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, November 10th from 12:00 noon until time of service. 

Mrs. Romines was born October 26, 1946 in Donelson to the late Herbert Johnson Morgan and Estelle Birdwell Black.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Kimberly Romines; and sister, Sue Morgan.  She is survived by husband of 53 years, Bobby Leon Romines, Sr. of Cookeville; daughter, Tammy Meador (Frankie) of Gallatin; sons, Bobby Leon Romines, Jr. (Marcia Parris) of Cookeville and Daniel Warren Romines (Amy Lewis) of Gallatin; sister, Patricia Morgan of Gallatin; 5 grandchildren, Austin Bailey Romines, Steven Allen Kemp, Kasey Lynn Brackin, Mary Elizabeth Smith, and Lilly Danielle Romines; and 11 great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
