Obituary of Donald R. Harris

Donald R. Harris, age 80 of Gallatin, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, November 30th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue), with Pastor Bo Johnson officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 30th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

Mr. Harris was born August 18, 1937 in Harlan, KY to the late Harold Harris and Elsie Whitaker Harris.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Patricia Jones Harris.  He is survived by daughter, Donna White (Gene) of Cookeville, TN; son, Ron Harris of Only, TN; 6 grandchildren, Ron Harris (Ashley), Robbie Harris, Jordan Harris, Josh Harris, Hunter White, and Heath White; and 2 great grandchildren, Kobe Harris and Keaton Harris.  Mr. Harris retired from R.R.
