Obituary of Rita Dickerson Perdue

Rita Dickerson Perdue, age 62 of Bethpage, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 6th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Charles Kimbrough officiating.  Interment will follow at Bush’s Chapel Cemetery, with Toby Parham, Johnny Maze, Ken Borghi, Floyd E. Sanders, Jr., Floyd E. Sanders, Sr., and Brandon Moreno serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Tuesday, December 5th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 6th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Perdue was born May 6, 1955 in Anniston, Alabama to the late Charles J. Dickerson and Mary Catherine Simpson Dickerson Haywood.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sons, Charles Jason Perdue and Cody Lee Perdue.  She is survived by husband of 43 years, Ronnie Perdue of Bethpage; daughter, Leah D. Perdue Banks (Lonnie) of Bethpage; sisters, Mitzi Dickerson Sanders (Edward) of Gallatin and Holly Dickerson Dankowski of Gallatin; and 3 grandchildren, Alexis Johns, Catherine Banks, and Hayden Banks.  Rita was with Bank of America for over 20 years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville and a member of the Gallatin Country Club.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
