Thursday, March 1, 2018My condolences to Teno, and to her daughter Deborah. I spoke to Helen last year when I was visiting Deborah's great grandmother and fathers grave site in Sparta, TN. Harriet and I had planned on visiting Helen last fall, but due to Harriet's cancer and our schedule was unable to do so. I found out about her passing a couple of days ago because Harriet and I were going to visit her and Teno, so I called and found the phone to be disconnected it quickly raised my attention that something was wrong. I believe Helen had her phone number for at least 40 years if not longer, so I was quite alarmed and so I searched on Google and found this obit. Again I am truly sorry and saddened by her passing. God bless you and your family.

Thursday, January 4, 2018Helen befriended me and my grandson, Alex, many years ago at the Gallatin Senior Center. While I was playing with the band, Helen kept an eye on Alex who was a ‘Special needs’ child. They became close friends and Helen came to his graduation from high school. Helen was the sweetest person I had ever met and I will never forget her. Rest In Peace, Helen. Alex and I will miss you......rf7n7 ❤️❤️
