Obituary of Ann Hargrove

Annie “Ann”  Walker Ivery Hargrove was born on May 14, 1928 in College Grove, TN to the late John and Sophie Ivery. She passed away January 3^rd, 2018 at the age of 89 years old.

Mrs. Ann worked for Wilson County School System in the Cafeteria and also the Suggs Creek Market. She was a member of Corinth Church of Christ in Mt. Juliet, TN.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hargrove, Jr.; son, Danny Hargrove; parents, John and Sophie Ivery. She is survived by her daughter, Gail (JD) Dye; grandchildren, Danny Hargrove, Gwen Hargrove Gregory, Missy Wilson, Skipper Wilson, Jennifer Hargrove, and Jacob Dye; great-grandchildren, Joah Williams, Kaitlyn Hargrove, Jason Richardson, and  Chloe Richardson; great-great grandchildren, Landon Williams and Samuel Williams.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6^th, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment will follow in the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Danny Hargrove, Jacob Dye, Darryl Wilson, Trey Walker, Andrew Morris, Robbie Rowland, James Thompson, and Jay Thompson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Joby Eakes, Paul Gentry, Buddy Neal, Lamon Nixon, Joah Williams, and Billy Gregory. Visitation will begin on Saturday, January 6^th from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m.

The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital; Tribute Program at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
