Obituary of Lydia Bascharow
Lydia Bascharow, age 93 of Lebanon, TN, passed away on January 25th, 2018.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 28th, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Rev. Kyle Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 28th from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
She is preceded in death by husband, Eugene Bascharow; parents, Michael and Maria Marienko; and 2 brothers. She is survived by children, Paul (Wilma) Bascharow, Lydia (Don) Dragan, Irene (Chris) Mastalia; 5 grandchildren, Derek (Mindy) Bascharow, Tammy (Tim) McCarthy, Christopher Katchucka, Brandon (Jami) Dragan, and Rosangela Mastalia; 6 great- grandchildren, Tyler Bascharow, Danica Bascharow, Travis Bascharow, Reilly McCarthy, Natalie Dragan, and Brooklyn Dragan; 3 sister-in-laws; 1 brother-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to HopeHouse International Lydia Bascharow Memorial Fund. 100% of the donations will go to aide families in Ukraine who have adopted at least 3 orphans. Lydia and her late husband, Eugene, were dedicated to the support of orphans and families in Ukraine throughout their lives and wished to continue this legacy through your generous gifts.
