Obituary of Wesley A. Dickens, Jr.

Wesley A. Dickens Jr. passed away on March 9, 2018 at age 73.  The family will receive friends at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the service.  The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Kevin Medlin, is 11 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home.  Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service.  Pallbearers:  Jeff Baines, David Mobley, Anthony Maxwell, David Purnell, Frank Domincovitch, and Paul Saunders.

               Mr. Dickens worked with LoJac for 37 years and was a member of Lebanon First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  He served on the Board of Directors for the Wilson County Homebuilders Association, the Hillview Farms Homeowners Association Board of Directors, and the Board of Directors for the Wilson County Fair for 28 years.  He had also been a Deacon for the Lebanon First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  Mr. Dickens loved softball and golf.

               Survived by his wife of 51 years, Doris Bennett Dickens, children Stephen Dickens and Stacy Dickens, grandchildren Reagan Dickens, Rylie Dickens, Lauren Long (Robert) Machado and Blake Long, great-grandchild Jax Wesley Machado, brothers David (Bobbie Sue) Dickens and John (Shelia) Dickens, and sister Dorothy “Dot” Brewer.  Mr. Dickens is preceded in death by father Wesley Adrian Dickens Sr., mother Lelai Mai Dickens, brothers Bobby Jr., Bobby Gene and James Dickens, sister Willie Mai Denney, aunts Frances Roberts and Laura Sisco, and uncle James Beal.
