About Us

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

For decades the spirit of service has been in the Sellar's Family, starting with Rev. Walter Sellars. The Sellars family has been very active in the heart of Wilson County. Bro. Sellars was very proud of our community as one could tell by his actions. He had a true love for people, regardless of denomination, race, or financial status. He preached numerous funerals and weddings, visited the fatherless, widows, hospitals and many that weren't able to get out. Sellars Funeral Home is based on the same principles on which Sellars stood firm. Sellars Funeral Home will carry on the tradition of service for many years to come and promises to give you compassion and respect.

The tradition of service has been shown through the ministry of Rev. Walter Sellars' youngest son, who has been a preacher in the area for nearly 30 years. Rev. Walter Sellars', grandson, Judd Sellars, is the owner and operator of Sellars Funeral Homes and Crematory in Lebanon and Mt. Juliet. Sellars main goal is to carry on the tradition of service that his father and grandfather have practiced for years. Many people have asked Judd if he will preach, but Judd tells them the funeral home is his ministry.

Sellars Funeral Home understands that this is the most crucial time in one's life, the loss of a loved one. Sellars Funeral Home promises to make your time of grief as pleasant as possible. Sellars appreciates the opportunity to serve your family and our community. Sellars Funeral Homes philosophy is taking care of your family like your family is ours.
