Jewel Maze, age 86 of Westmoreland, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021. Funeral Service will be Monday, October 25th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor Phil Brown officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, October 24th from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Monday, October 25th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Maze was born December 24, 1934 in Sumner County to the late Carl Morgan and Edna Henson Morgan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Harold Maze; son, David Carter; and sister, Mary Ann Keen. She is survived by son, Johnny Maze (Rebekah) of Westmoreland; daughter, Brenda Mandrell of Westmoreland; sisters, Peggy Hightower of Lafayette, Fay Dickens of Westmoreland, Sue Ray (Johnny B.) of Westmoreland, and Myra Gail Rollins of Westmoreland; 14 grandchildren, Elliott Maze, Sherry Shaub (Phillip), Shelia O’Neal (Roger), Sheritza Mandrell, Rodney Kennedy (Meranda), Lauryn Maze, Evan Gross, Eli Maze, Bridgett Sullivan, John “John Boy” Carter, Laura Carter, Michael Carter, Steven Carter, and Brian Carter; and a host of great grandchildren.
