Mrs. Mary Cothron Howell, age 93 of Hartsville, TN passed away Tuesday evening, February 7, 2023 at the Hartsville Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Howell was born October 15, 1929 in Macon Co., TN to the late Lethard Fitz “LF” & Edna Roark Cothron. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Howell and Sisters, Laffell Stanford and Lena Gregory and Brother, Rossie Cothron.
She is survived by: Daughter, Theresa (Ed) Stanford-Lebanon, TN; Son, Lance (Lynn) Howell-Hartsville, TN; 4 Grandchildren, Rob Stanford-New York, NY, Kate (Aryvia) Holmes-Birmingham, AL, Kayla (Josh) Wilkerson-Hartsville, TN, Bailey (Dusty) Cato-Hartsville, TN and 6 Great Grandchildren, Olivia & Harrison Holmes, Willa & Stella Wilkerson and Kenley & JP Cato.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 1 PM Monday, February 13, 2023 conducted by Bro. Carroll Carman. Pallbearers: Stanley Holder, Rob Stanford, Aryvia Holmes, Josh Wilkerson, Dusty Cato and Chris Oldham. Interment will be in the Hartsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 1 PM to 7 PM Sunday and 10 AM until service time Monday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hartsville United Methodist Church or to the Fred A. Vaught Public Library.
