Mary Elizabeth Lackey age 94 of Gallatin passed away Saturday April 4, 2015. Funeral service will be Tuesday April 7th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Yarborough officiating. Interment will be in Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Buddy Lackey, Greg Lackey, Justin Lackey, Brian Valkryie, Michael Castro, and Stevie Bloodworth serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday April 6th from 2:00 -8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Ms. Lackey was born July 14, 1920 in Sumner County to the late Jesse Clay Bloodworth and Lucy Kate Whitby Bloodworth. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, MSGT Hugh Lackey; brothers, Tom Bloodworth, Grady Bloodworth, and Leonard Bloodworth; and sister, Sue Walker. She is survived by son, James "Buddy" Lackey (Carol) of Gallatin; sister, Selena Crawford of Nashville; sister-in-law, Kay Bloodworth of Whitehouse; 4 grandchildren, Greg Lackey, Justin Lackey, Stephanie Graves (Scott Stephes), and Michael Castro (Amy); 6 great-grandchildren, Robbie Graves, Taylor Graves, Kerstie Stephens, James Castro, Grayce Castro, and Kaylee Castro; and 1 great-great grandchild, Noah Graves.
