I live on the third floor at Knoxville Senior Living, the same floor that Sherman lived on. We loved it when he had good days and could come down to the dining room using his cane only but other days he needed his wheelchair. He often sat at the piano downstairs and played some. You could tell he had a musical background. Unfortunately Covid caused quarantine here and Sherman moved to another place to live. Sometimes you don’t know that person’s background until you read the obituary. He was an amazing person.
Sherman and and I attended MCHS together. Even though he was a year ahead of me we became friends. He was always so sweet and kind, a real southern gentleman.
So thankful to have known him.
Love and condolences to all the family.

May he be blessed in the hands of our lord and savior Jesus Christ and walk the streets of gold in heaven. May the wings of an angel that god gave glisten in the sun.
May he rest peacefully.
